Peachtree® by Sage 2008 New Features - REPORTING IMPROVEMENTS

Now you can find the report you need faster and easier. Peachtree has added one-click access to reports from all Navigation Centers. In addition, the report selection screen has been updated to better help you find the report you need.

The Print Preview and Design screens have been combined to streamline the reporting process, making it easier to design and modify your Peachtree reports.

From the new screen, you can easily change column widths on your report. You can also see if your report extends beyond the paper's printable area, this allows you to make necessary adjustments before clicking Print.

With the new Modify Report screen, you can easily achieve the report output you need. The Modify Report screen allows you to specify filters, dates, sorting, and columns for all reports. You can also verify filters before running the report.

You can access the Modify Report screen from the Options button on the report selection screen or the report screens.

Get to detail quickly with expanded drill-down capability. Many of the most commonly used reports now have improved drill-down capabilities to make it easier to view the details behind the numbers.

Drill-down capabilities have been added to reports such as the Account Reconciliation and Account Register.

The 19 most commonly used reports have been enhanced with over 150 new filters, columns, and sorting options.

Improved reports include the General Ledger, Bank Deposit Report, General Journal, Aged Receivables, and more. Peachtree even has a new General Ledger report which lists transactions based on the criteria you specify ?the Transaction Detail Report.

Now you can specify a custom date or date range for the following reports: General Ledger, General Ledger Trial Balance, Working Trial Balance, and the Chart of Accounts. This gives you more flexibility, and allows you to see how your business is doing on a broader scale. For example, you can set up a custom date range covering multiple periods within your open fiscal years, such as February 10th April 22nd or December 11th January 18th.
