Peachtree® by Sage 2008 New Features - FORMS IMPROVEMENTS

Now you can find the forms you need faster and easier. In Peachtree 2008, forms are arranged in logical groupings under the Forms submenu of the Reports & Forms menu. Additionally, the Forms tab on the Select a Report or Form window is organized to help you find and print the exact form you need.

For each form, a sample is provided to show how the printed form will look. This helps you select the correct form.

The forms design screen has been updated to make customizing your forms more intuitive. For example, the items most commonly added to forms are conveniently grouped together under the Add menu.

New visual indicators make it clear which items are selected on the form.

To provide more flexibility with the type of images you can add to forms, the .jpg image format is now supported.

You now have the option to add fold marks, which indicate where to fold the printed form.

On transactions screens for which you can print forms (e.g., Sales/Invoicing or Quotes), the Layout button allows you to access many options for customizing the displayed or printed layout.You can specify which fields and columns appear on the entry screen and/or the printed form. Checkboxes allow you to make selections quickly and easily.

You can access frequently used form editing tools. For example, you can conveniently add a logo to the printed form.

Peachtree 2008 offers a new Preview and Print screen that makes it easier for you to specify the forms you want to print or e-mail. You can select the customers or vendors for whom you want to print or e-mail a form directly from a list. When you need to print forms in a batch, you can now select and print the forms directly from the transaction screen (e.g., Sales/Invoicing)
