Job Management Enhancements (available in Peachtree Pro Accounting and higher)
Several small improvements will make a big difference to job and project managers who use Peachtree. Maintenance of jobs and selection of jobs on transactions have been simplified, and a larger notes field provides room needed for recording important details.
- A job selected on the first line of a transaction automatically populates to the following lines, saving time and virtually eliminating errors.
- You don't have to take your hands off the keyboard to select the correct job/phase/cost code.
- A warning will let you know if you forget to enter a job on sales or purchase transactions.
- Additional job notes can now be stored in an expanded notes field.

The status of any job can now be determined at a glance. Color-coded "traffic signals" make it easy to see which jobs you need to focus on. And you can set up a virtually unlimited number of custom job statuses.

Enhancements to Contacts & Addresses (available in all 2011 Peachtree products)
Maintaining customer contacts and addresses has been simplified in Sage Peachtree 2011.
- A Clear button replaces the Copy button on transaction screens, allowing you to remove the ship-to address on the transaction.
- You can copy and paste any address, including the billing address, to make contact setup quicker and easier.
