Vendor Management Center (available in Peachtree Complete Accounting and higher)

Peachtree 2012 New Features


Copy Transactions (available in all 2012 Sage Peachtree products)

Save time and simplify the process of creating new transactions by copying one you've already saved. The ability to copy an existing transaction has been added to several tasks and list views.


  • Copy transactions from the entry screen or list view of Quotes, Sales Orders, Proposals, Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, and General Journal Entries.
  • Easily create a new sales invoice when a customer calls and says "give me the same thing I got last month but make it 10 widgets instead of 8."
    1. Just find the sales invoice from last month.
    2. Open it.
    3. Click "Copy".
    4. Change the number of widgets - or anything else - and save. It's just that easy!

Peachtree 2012 New Features


Peachtree Business Intelligence (available in Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting and higher)

With Peachtree Business Intelligence, you can create Microsoft® Excel® based financial, sales and purchase reports and spend more time analyzing the data rather than pulling it together.

You can run the predefined Sales, Purchase and Financial analysis reports - or use them as starting points for your own customized reports. Create the layout you want in Excel, save and link the template, and then you can quickly get the data you want in the report you want to see.

Peachtree 2012 New Features


Dashboard & Management Center Enhancements (available in Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting and higher)

Several enhancements have been made to Sage Peachtree Quantum's My Dashboard, and the Management Centers for Customers, Inventory and Services, and Jobs. These few, small changes can produce a big difference in your everyday tasks, helping you work more efficiently.


  • Set each module to show the number of lines you want and easily change it at any time.
  • Every list of transactions now includes a Totals line so you can quickly see the total value of the listed transactions.
  • The date range drop-down menu now starts at the top of the date list, so you can easily and quickly locate common selections like Today or All.
  • The scroll wheel on your mouse will now control each Management Center's scrollbar.
  • Various buttons, links, and labels have been changed to make the available functions easier to locate.

Manage Tracking Notes (available in Sage Peachtree Quantum only)

Quickly view and add transaction status details so everyone is aware of where things stand.


  • Mouse over Tracking Notes in the Customer Management Center and My Peachtree Inbox to quickly see the latest note without having to open the transaction.
  • Quickly add new notes and view note history by clicking in the Tracking Note column.
  • Right click to add/view notes and note history on A/R list views and dashboards without opening the transaction.

  • 11 modules have been added in the areas of Vendors, Jobs, and Inventory making a total of 46 customizable modules.
  • Vendor modules: Top Vendors for Last 12 Months, Vendor Credit Memos, Write Checks, and Item Purchase History by Vendor.
  • Inventory modules: Purchases/Inventory Received, Assemblies Built/Unbuilt, Inventory Adjustments, Work Tickets.
  • Other modules: General Journal Entries, Change Orders, Payroll Entries.
